Sona Jobarteh to perform in US, Canada

The London-born Gambin multi-instrumentalist and Kora (a 21 strings musical instrument from West Arica, which is played by plucking with the fingers) would be doing a grand performance in Los Angeles in the United States on 24 June.

In Canada, she would be performing at the TD Victoria International Jazz Festival in Victoria, the capital city of the Canadian province of British Columbia, on 26 June.

She would also be performing at the Coastal Jazz Festival in Vancouver, western Canada on 27 and 28 June.

This follows her displays in Europe, where she performed last month in Switzerland, Germany and other countries in that region.
