Italian Serie A side, Hellas Verona has reportedly entered the race for Gambian and Atalanta youngster Ebrima Colley but face tough competition from Parma.

Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio revealed that the Gialloblu have offered a paid loan of €1m with the option to buy the attacker for €9m.

Atalanta dwell on the operation, but the report revealed manager Ivan Juric’s Verona are in pole position to sign the 20-year-old Gambian international (Scorpions) winger.

Ebrima Colley made his debut in Serie A against Bologna last December and has since played five times for the Orobici under Gian Piero Gasperini.

The Gambian attacker helped Atalanta’s Under-21 side to win the championship with 12 goals in 15 matches.
