Coached by Dave Westfahl (club), Cassie Rodriguez (high school), and Kate Kovenock (college), Barrow started competitive swimming after moving to the United States at the age of eight. She had a lustrous four-year high school career representing Shorewood High School at the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Division II State Championships. To cap off, Barrow led the team to the 2020 state champion runner-up and was crowned the 2021 Wisconsin State Champion in the 100-yard breaststroke.
Barrow is an undergraduate student in the Programme in Liberal Medical Education (BS/MD) at Brown University, RI, USA. She is also a member of the Brown University Swimming and Diving Team. During her freshman year, Barrow competed in eight meets for the Bears, swimming 100- and 200-yard breaststroke and the 200 Individual Medley at the 2023 Ivy League Championships. Her times also added Barrow to Brown University’s All-Time Top 25 Performers lists for all three events, making Barrow the second fastest 200 breaststrokers for the 2022-23 team.
Barrow is also the 2022 Wisconsin Swimming Long Course Champion in 100- and 200-meter breaststroke events; she will participate in Japan.
