"I cannot do it alone, election have gone and we have come together to develop Gambian football, " Ceesay said.
Ceesay called on Sadibou Kamaso and Colonel Musa Jammeh to come and join him to develop Gambian football.
He added that Kamso and Colenel Jammeh are both important in the development of Gambian football.
"I cannot do it alone without you people," Ceesay said.
Ceesay stated that Kamaso and Colonel Jammeh are key football stakeholders in The Gambia.
"I want to get all of you on board, to see how best we can develop Gambian football,” Ceesay said.
Ceesay thanked the government of The Gambia, Ministry of Youth and Sports and their team for stability in Gambian football.
He also thanked regional football associations, clubs, allied associations for electing him as president of the GFF.
"To my executive committee is not here to celebrate during next four years. We have a group of very competent people and we would try to deliver," Ceesay said.
Ceesay revealed that the new GFF cannot operate without CAF and FIFA.
"I was the former finance director of the GFF, 80% of our fundings are from FIFA and CAF. We expect FIFA to help the us to professionalise our league," Ceesay said.
Ceesay stated former president Lamin Kabba Bajo and his executive members did very well for the business plan of The Gambia League.
"We have lot of challenges before the start of professional league in The Gambia.
We are seeking support from WAFU and CAF," Ceesay appealed.
