TMT suffer back-to-back defeats in Women’s League One

TMT Female Football Club have suffered  back-to-back defeats in the 2023-2024  Gambia Football Federation women’s League Division One played at the Live Your Dream Sports in Basori on Saturday.

The Abuko based-club lost to Red Scorpions 2-0 in their opening match before locking horns with Berewuleng.

TMT Female Football Club came for the maximum points to bounce back in the league but slipped to Berewuleng 2-1 to remain pointless in the league.

Future Bi thrashed Immigration 3-1 at the Late Ousman Saho Football on Friday, while Brikama United drew 1-1 with City Girls at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama on Saturday.

Reigning league champions, Red Scorpion continued their winning form in the league after thrashing Gambia Armed Forces 3-0 at the Bakau Mini Stadium on Sunday.

In the second tier, Jung Mama beat Fortune 3-2 at the Soma Mini Stadium on Friday while Trust FC drew 2-2 with Darboe’s FC on the same day.

Mansawally defeated Jeshwang United 1-0 at the Soma Mini Stadium on Saturday.

Lower Niumi drew 1-1 with Prisons FC at the Soma Mini Stadium on Sunday, while Kinteh’s thumped Greater Tomorrow 2-0 at the Live Your Dream Sports in Basori on the same day.

Yakarr FC hammered Raptim 4-0 at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama.
