The Police male side defeated Olympafrica/SK East three sets to nil during their week-11 fixture played at the Jeshwang Volleyball Court on Sunday.
The security side dominated the entire three-sets on 35-31, 25-21, and 25-22 respectively.
The latest win moved the Police to top the seven-team competition standings with 20 points after winning 6 and losing 2 matches.
Olympafrica/SK East dropped to 4th position with 12 points after winning 4 and losing 4 gamesrespectively.
Earlier, Brikama defeated Gamtel / Gamcel 3-2 during a game played at Jeshwang Volleyball Court on Saturday.
The Sateba boys got off to a fast start, winning the opening set 25-22, but the Telecom boys leveled the set with 21-25. Brikama again took the lead in the other two sets 25-12 and 25-22 before Gamtel/Gamcel won the last set by 15-7.
The victory moved Brikama to 3rd position with 13 points while Gamtel/Gamcel sit 6th position with 8 points after suffering 6 losses and securing 3 victories.
Meanwhile, the Police also continued their dominance in the female category after defeating Olympafrica/ SK East 3-0 during a game played at the Jeshwang Volleyball Court on Sunday.
The female security outfit showed their dominance by winning all three sets on 25-15, 25-13 and 25-19 respectively.
Coach Marie Wada and her charges sit at the top of the 10-team league table standings with 39 points after collecting 13 wins. Olympafrica/ SK East occupy 8th position with 9 points after securing 9 victories and suffering 3 defeats.
The Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) beat The Gambia Fire and Rescue Services (GFRS) 3-0 in a game played at the Serrekunda East Volleyball Court on Friday.
The female soldiers who are producing master-class performance got off to a fast start, leading the entire three sets by 25-10, 25-22 and 25-5.
GAF now moved to 2nd position with 38 points, while the Fire Fighters sit 7th position with 11 points.
Waa Banjul defeated YMCA 3-0 during a game played at the Saints Volleyball Court on Sunday.
The City Girls won the three sets by 25-10, 25-19 and 25-20.
The result put Waa Banjul on 5th position with 18 points while YMCA occupy 10th position with 2 points after securing one win and suffering 11 defeats.
