"We’re excited to announce that Matty Manga, the talented goalkeeper from the Gambia national team and former player of Abuko United FC, has joined Bayelsa Queens FC,” said the club.
“She has arrived in Bayelsa State and is already blending in fast with the team,” added the club.
“We can’t wait to see her in action", the club wrote on its official Facebook page.
Matty has been training with her teammates after returning from the West Africa Football Union (Wafu) Zone A Women's football championship in Cape Verde in January of 2023 where she helped The Gambia win Bronze. She was voted Player of the match in Gambia Vs Guinea game.
