Gunjur Utd switch attention to 2nd Division matches after FF Cup exit

Gunjur United will now switch their attention to the 2023-2024 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division Two League matches after their elimination from the FF Cup competition.

The Coastal Town boys slipped to Waa Banjul 1-0 in their round of 32 tie played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium on Friday.

Gunjur United sit 9th place on the country’s Second Tier table with 21 points in 17 league matches.

Coach Baboucarr Kakai Bojang and his Gunjur United charges will now switch their attention to their league outings after exit from the annual FF Cup competition.

Gunjur United will clash to win their remaining league matches to boost their dreams of gaining promotion to The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division One League.

The Coastal Town boys will play against The Gambia Ports Authority in their week-18 match of the country’s Second Tier on Thursday 21st March 2024 at the King 5 Mini Stadium in Banjul at 4.30 pm.
