All African Games: Gina Bass Bittaye finishes 1st spot in Women’s 100 metres race

Gambian sprinter, Mariam Gina Bass Bittaye, has finished first position in the Women’s 100 metres heat one run of the 13th edition of the All African Games, Accra 2023.

The Silver medalist of the Rabat Games clocked eleven minutes thirty-five seconds.

Meanwhile, The Gambia athletic team captain Adama Jammeh has secured second-place in his race with a timing of ten minute fifty-five seconds.

Jammeh also advanced to the semi-final after finishing second-spot in his race.

Gambian France based-athlete, Alieu Joof has grabbed second-place in the heat four of the 100 metres race of the 13th edition of the All African Games, Accra 2023 but he was unable to participate in the semi-finals of the 100 metres race due to injury.
