The ground breaking partnership was signed in a colourful ceremony held at the Football House on Monday 1st February 2026.
The ceremony was presided over by the GFF President Lamin Kaba Bajo.
The partnership is aimed at introducing effective digital ticketing system that would enhance transparency, access to a real-time audit trail, easy reconciliation, the ability to monitor progress and accountability, and prevent revenue leakage by leveraging the secure APS E-Ticketing platform.
Speaking at the signing ceremony President of the GFF, Lamin Kabba Bajo thanked APS Group for the partnership, which he described as a positive milestone.
"We at the GFF value this partnership, especially the E-Ticketing platform.
This occasion serves as a clear indication that Gambian football is very attractive and that it's the fastest way for businesses to reach their targeted customers," Bajo said.
Bajo reassured APS Group of companies of Football House’s commitment to strengthening the partnership.
General Secretary of the GFF, Lamin M Jassey, reflected on the role played by GFF's Commercial Manager Saffiatou Secka since her appointment as Commercial Manager.
Jassey added that the partnership with APS Wallet had already yielded positive results for the GFF hence the payment of match officials through the APS Wallet.
Speaking on behalf of APS, Kissima Tunkara thanked the GFF for trusting and partnering with APS.
Tunkara added that the participants would lay down the foundation for a modern, accountable and commercially sustainable football ecosystem that would benefit all stakeholders".
He stated that APS is looking at a long term partnership with Football House to make the partnership viable
As part of the partnership, APS has committed a D1,000,000.00 (one million dalasi) for the GFF Men's Men's Second Division League Competition.
The competition is now be called the GFF-APS Wallet Second Division League.
