The ceremony, held at the Football House in Kanifing, was attended by representatives from Banjul, Serekunda East, Bakau, Brikama, KMRFA, Banjul RFA and West Coast RFA.
In his inaugural statement, GFF First Vice President Bakary K. Jammeh noted that the importance of the committee could not be overemphasised as it would be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the various projects undertaken by the GFF in their respective communities.
Mr Jammeh highlighted that the projects implementation works have not been easy with the GFF because "it's not our core mandate".
He said the various committees and the GFF would all work together to "ensure that the maintenance works at the grounds are kept intact for a proper sustenance of the grounds".
The meeting, chaired by the GFF General Secretary Lamin M. Jassey, was attended by GFF Finance Director Kemo Ceesay and Competitions Director Baboucarr Jobe among others.
