1st Division: Brikama Utd, Waa Banjul, Wallidan edgy to survive

Brikama United, Waa Banjul and Wallidan are all nervous to survive in The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division One League for another season despite their dismal performances in the country’s Elite League campaign.

The trio are currently struggling in the First Division League season after losing majority of their league matches.

Brikama United occupy third-place from bottom on the country’s Elite League table with 12 points after winning two matches, drawing six and losing seven.

The Sateyba boys, who won the First Division League trophy twice in the 2010-2011 season and the 2018-2019 season, will use the first round break to improve on their weaknesses in order to win their remaining league matches to move away from the relegation zone.

Brikama United will combat to survive the country’s Elite League despite their slopping performance in the first round of the league campaign.

Waa Banjul sit second-place from bottom on the First Division League table with 12 points after 15 league outings.

The Banjul based-club won three matches, drew three and lost nine.

Waa Banjul will clash to win their remaining league matches to stay in the country’s Elite League for another season despite their woeful performance in the first round of the season.

Wallidan occupy bottom-place on the First Division League table with 10 in 15 league matches.

The Blue boys won two matches, drew four and lost eight. Wallidan will contend to survive in the country’s Elite League for another season despite their dismal performance in the first round of the league campaign.
