Coach Saintfiet to announce squad soon as int’l training camps loom

The Scorpions will hold international training camps in Saudi Arabia and Morocco to prepare themselves fit and ready for the 2023 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted in Ivory Coast.

The international training camps are set to commence on 27th December 2023.

Coach Saintfiet will select good players for their two international training camps to boost The Gambia’s chances of performing extremely brilliant in the continent’s biannual biggest football festivity.

The international training camps will give Coach Tom Saintfiet the opportunity to improve his team’s weaknesses before the start of the 2023 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations.

Coach Saintfiet and his Scorpions charges must improve on their weaknesses during their international training camps to excel in the continent’s bi-annual biggest football fiesta following their woeful performance in their 2026 World Cup qualifier matches against Burundi and Ivory Coast last month.

The Gambia will be resolute to beat Senegal, Guinea Conakry and Cameroon in their Group C matches to cruise to the round of sixteen of the 2023 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations.
