Bilbao FC, Badala FC share spoils in Serrekunda West nawettan

Bilbao FC have shared the spoils with Badala FC in the 2024 Serrekunda West Sports Development  Organisation (SWSDO) ‘nawettan’.

Both sides drew goalless in their crunch clash played at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium on Tuesday.

Bilbao FC and Badala FC fought with the motive of clasping the maximum three points but the match ended goalless.

Head coach of Badala FC, Abdoulie Jobe, stated that both teams knew each before their crucial clash, adding that they both sides hailed from the same locality.

‘‘Bilbao FC defeated us last season. This year we came for revenge but the match failed to produce a winner," coach Jobe said.

Head coach of Bilbao FC, Francis Gomez, stated that the table standing is now very critical , adding that both teams are currently fighting for a spot in the next round of the Serrekunda West nawettan.

Both Badala FC and Bilbao FC are currently with 5 points each.

Blackpool FC drew 1-1 with Campbell Town 1-1 on Tuesday.

Omar Ndure opened the scores for Campbell Town in the 36th minute of the match from the penalty spot.

Abdourahman Jallow levelled matters for Blackpool FC in the stoppage time.

The Blackpool boys are winless this year’s Serrekunda West nawettan.

Blackpool FC lost two matches and drew one.

Head coach of Campbell Town FC, Ismaila Sonko, revealed that the match was not a bad one, adding their opponent needed the match more than them. 

Campbell Town FC secured 5 points, while Blackpool FC snatched only a point.
