Amienata A. Darboe, a young talented female assistant referee within the Greater Banjul Area Nawettan competition zones. Amienata has been working for quite a while. She's around 20 years old, and after some trial appointments, she has been promoted to become a full-time official. 

So, as a 20-year old, she made her debut. Very impressive. She was among the female officials in history of the league.

While the spotlight often falls on the referee and the players during a football match, it is important not to overlook the crucial contributions of the assistant referees like Amienata A. Darboe. 

These unsung heroes play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the game and upholding the integrity of the sport. In this article, we will delve into the work of assistant referees and shed light on their responsibilities and the impact they have on the outcome of a match.
