The presentation ceremony held at the hospotial is part of the company’s social coperate responsibility.
Hatab Nyang, media officer for the company in handing over the materials said the company currently employs over 300 Gambians and non-Gambians. He added that the company, which is among the leading feul stations in the country has been supporting communities across the country with rice and sugar during Ramadan, supported communities with solar street lights, football teams with jerseys, among others.
Mr Nyang added that they hope the materials will be beneficial to the hospital and urged them to use them for the purpose of the donation.
David Junior Daye, senior nursing officer and Officer In Charge (OIC) of Serrekunda Health Centre expressed heartfelt gratitude to Tech World for their generosity.
He pointed out that the assistance will undoubtedly elevate their ability to provide quality healthcare services to the community.
“Tech World Limited’s recent contribution towards the development of our health center exemplifies their dedication to the well-being of the people in our community,” he stated, saying the donation has not only provided them with much-needed equipment and supplies but has also helped them enhance their capacity to serve the increasing healthcare needs of their patients and their families.
“The Serrekunda Health Centre, with its limited resources, strives to provide comprehensive healthcare services to the people in our area. However, due to financial constraints, we often face challenges in maintaining and upgrading our facilities. The generous donation from Tech World Limited has been a true game-changer for us. We now have access to state-of-the-art medical equipment, which will enable our medical professionals to provide accurate diagnoses and deliver effective treatment to our patients,” he said.

Fatou Joof-Sem, a midwife at the health cenre said they had a shortage of chairs at their mothers ward and noted that the chairs will make life confortable for mothers and their children.
