Tabital Pulaagu prexy renews call for unity among Fula community

The president of the Tabital Pulaagu-The Gambia has renewed his call for unity among the Fula community, further expressing his resolve to strengthen relations among members of Tabital Pulaagu-The Gambia and even beyond.

Alhagie Seedy Dem was speaking on Saturday during a presser held at the YMCA conference hall in Kanifing.

The Fula associations (Tabial Pulagu) is also heading for a congress scheduled from the 29th to 30th December, 2023.

Also, the Saturday presser provided a perfect opportunity to clarify rumors on the legal recognition of the Tabital Pulaagu and the need to call for a congress.

Moving forward, Dem revealed that prior to his leadership, there had been misunderstanding hampering the development of Tabital Pulaagu.

He recalled that at that time, he was not a member of either side, noting that there is no interest in division or separation.

Dem underscored the importance of peace and unity, further calling for more unity at the district level to be able to make a progress.

He also spoke about some current work ahead of December congress, further calling on the Fula community to remain united for more development.

Tabital Pulaagu -Gambia is a chapter among the twenty-six country chapters in Africa and affiliated chapters around the globe that formed the Tabital Pulaagu International (TPI). The current president of Tabital Pulaagu International is His Royal Highness Muhammadu Sanusi II of Nigeria.
