The donation comes following the return of foundation Secretary, Adama Fadera and Program Coordinator Alasana Bajo from a ten-day working trip in Turkey.
At the presentation ceremony, Adama Fadera, Secretary General for Kaira Foundation, revealed that the school is currently facing challenges in clothing, shelter, feeding amongst others. Thus, the reason behind this donation.
Also speaking at the event, Alasana Bajo, programme Coordinator at Kaira Foundation, outlined the Foundationās core mission, which he said, is to help the needy and also nurture the next generation of leaders by supporting through education and other social needs.
Bajo further called on the beneficiaries to cherish the gifts and make best use of them, further thanking their partners Africa Friendship Association for their support.
Receiving the items, Oustas Bai Mamud Touray, proprietor of the school, expressed gratitude and appreciation for the donation.
He described the donation as timely in view of the fact that the school is currently experiencing challenges and thus urgently needs Quranic books and clothings.
He prayed that God Almighty continues to bless the Foundation and their partners to be able to continue such humanitarian venture.
Binta Touray, Gender and Welfare Officer of Kaira Foundation, also graced the event.
