The particulars of offence on Count Two state that Mohammed Rafique Kabir Khan, on the 29th day of July 2025 at approximately 16:53 in Fajara, within the Kanifing Municipality of the Republic of The Gambia and under the jurisdiction of the Honourable Court, was found in possession of 3kg 310g of cannabis resin—a prohibited drug—and thereby committed an offence.
On count nine, the accused is charged with Possession of prohibited drugs, contrary to Section 35 (2)(b) of the Drug Control Act 2003, Laws of The Gambia (as amended).
The particulars of offence stated that Mohammed Rafique Kabir Khan, on the 29th of July 2025 at approximately 19:05 in Fajara, within the Kanifing Municipality of the Republic of The Gambia and under the jurisdiction of the Honourable Court, was found in possession of 242g of cannabis skunk—a prohibited drug—and thereby committed an offence.
On count 10, the accused is charged with possession of prohibited drugs, contrary to Section 35 (1)(a) of the Drug Control Act 2003, Laws of The Gambia (as amended).
The particulars of offence on count 10 stated that Mohammed Rafique Kabir Khan, on or about the 29th of July 2025 at approximately 19:05 in Fajara, within the Kanifing Municipality of the Republic of The Gambia and under the jurisdiction of the Honourable Court, was found in possession of 66g of cannabis gummi—a prohibited drug—and thereby committed an offence.
The accused, who was arraigned at the Bundung Magistrates’ Court, has been remanded at Mile Two Central Prison pending the next adjournment date, which is scheduled for 18 September.
