Gambia diplomat in Russia passes away

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad regrets to announce the untimely demise of Mr. Kebba Famara Singhateh, the Deputy Head of Mission at the Gambian Embassy in Moscow, the Russian Federation. 

Mr. Singhateh passed away in the early hours of Saturday and the Honourable Minister and Staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad offer our prayers for the Almighty Allah to grant the departed Jannatul Firdaws and convey our sincere condolences to the family of the late Mr. Singhateh.

We pray the Almighty Allah grant his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. 

The Ministry is in consultation with relevant Senegalese authorities to facilitate the repatriation of the remains of Mr. Singhateh at the earliest opportunity and further seeks to bring this sad news to the Government of The Gambia.

May his soul Rest In Peace.
