Honourable Colley made these remarks recently during a presentation of football jerseys to the villages in her constituency and also cooking utensils, and cash of D15, 000 to the women group of each ward in her constituency at a ceremony held at the Somita Football Field.
“The time for politics is over. Let us all unite and develop our region. Everything has a time. There is time for politics and there is time for development. So let’s come together and work,” she advised.
She further stated that she would continue to do such kind of gestures for her people and many other development initiatives in the future.
According to her, everything presented to the people of her region comes from her own contribution, which is dear to her heart.
Speaker after speaker commended Honourable Colley for the good initiative and they all promised to put the donated items into good use.
