During his cross examination before Justice Jaiteh of the High Court, defence counsel Samuel Ade, applied for the CCTV footage to be played in court.
The footage was tendered during the testimony of Prosecution Witness Six (PW6), Landing Jallow, and became the focus of intense cross-examination.
Counsel Ade put it to the witness that the video did not show the accused entering the bureau, a key moment the defence argues is essential to the prosecution’s case. However, PW6 disagreed, insisting that he saw the accused coming out of the bureau in the footage.
When asked how long the accused spent inside the bureau, the witness stated that he did not know.
The defence further suggested that the CCTV footage was edited and that the segment showing the accused entering the bureau was omitted. PW6 responded that, to his knowledge, the footage had not been edited.
Under further questioning, PW6 admitted that he could not, at that moment, point out the exact portion of the footage where the accused was seen entering the bureau. He also confirmed that he did not receive any separate video clip specifically showing the accused entering the bureau.
The matter was adjourned until 2nd February 2026.
