Two men: Dodou Joof and Hammadi Jallow, were last Tuesday arraigned before the Brikama Magistrates' Court, charged with idle and disorderly conduct, contrary to the Laws of The Gambia.
According to the particulars of offence, on 27thSeptember 2009, at around midnight in Brikama, being a public place, the accused persons conducted themselves in a manner likely to cause the breach of peace.
The Prosecuting Officer objected to bail for the accused persons, but his objection was overruled and the accused were subsequently granted bail in the sum of D1, 000 each, with a Gambian surety who most deposit his or her two passport picture to the court.
The case was adjourned to 8thOctober 2009.
