Youth needs urgent overseas treatment

Muhammed Sidibeh a 29-year-old man and a native of Wuli Barrow Kunda in the Upper River Region, now resident of Serrekunda is in need of urgent help to undergo for overseas treatment.

According to a medical report from the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital (RVTH) in Banjul, the patient is suffering from cirrhosis of the liver, adding that it is not possible to do a liver biopsy test in the country, and therefore needs an overseas treatment.

Speaking to this reporter, Alhagie Sidibeh, the father of the patient, appealed to the general public, the private sector, institutions, and the government to help in the treatment of his son.

According to him, the patient has suffered a lot, adding that "he cannot even go out."

Meanwhile, speaking to the patient himself, Muhammed said it's nine month now he cannot do anything for himself.
