Taiwanese medical team due in Banjul

A team of seven-man Taiwanese medical team will visit The Gambia as guest of the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital (RVTH) and Serrekunda Hospital from today 8th to 22 July 2010.

Disclosing this information to this paper yesterday, RVHT's Public Relations Officer, Babucarr Ngum said the team will comprise Surgeons, Physicians, Dermologist and Nurses.

He stated that this is part of the bi-lateral co-operation between The Gambia and Taiwan in the area of health. He pointed out that during their visit in The Gambia, the team will meet top officers of the Ministry of Health.
