Youssou N’dour on his new album Dakar-Kingston

Today music welcomes back that unmistakable tenor – the voice of Youssou N’dour captured on his new album Dakar-Kingston. Recorded at the legendary Tuff Gong studios, it’s an exciting project where he revisits some of his repertoire but adds to it a roots-reggae feel under the guidance of former member of Bob Marley and the Wailers’ Tyrone Downie. Other Wailers band members are also on board as are Jamaican poet/activist Muta Baruka, Morgan Heritage, plus now-school generations Patrice, Ayo and more.
