As the profession of writing grows wide in The Gambia, another young Gambian female artist, Awa Divine Bojang, has completed all preparations to launch her book entitled Arrows of Wisdom.
The official launch will be held on the 28th of December, 2008 at the joint officer's mess in Kotu.
In an interview with this reporter, the author, Awa Divine Bojang, said the book is about Africa and her great heroes. She explained that Africa has the richest history in terms of politics, religious, cultural, social lifestyles and therefore should be put into novels and poems.
According to her, the book will help to encourage those who loose faith, including politicians and traditional rulers. Miss Bojang finally thanked The Gambia printing and publishing corporation for their support in printing the book. The Chief patron is Honourable Speaker Madame Fatoumata Jahumpa Ceesay and The Chief Guest of honour will be her Excellency the Nigerian High Commissioner
