Ablo Promotions in collaboration with The Block Entertainment yesterday met the Minister of Tourism and Culture, Hon. Fatou Mass Jobe-Njie, to discuss the weekend wrestling ‘bureh dorr’.
The aim of organizing the event is to bring about Senegambian wrestling contest that will pit Gambian and Senegalese wrestlers on Sunday at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
Speaking at a press conference held at the Ministry of Tourism and Culture yesterday, Abdoulie Bojang of Ablo Promotions explained that the contest will hopefully be the maiden event for a truly well remunerated and highly rewarding Gambian wrestling programme that will contribute to national development in varied ways.

The wrestlers will be competing for the flag dedicated to H.E. President Yahya A.J.J. Jammeh, the Gambian leader, for his strong support to the youth, sports and culture sectors as well as traditional sport.
