The Ministry of Transport, Works and Infrastructure (MoTWI) said it has come to its notice that there are certain unscrupulous individuals operating at the Senegambia Toll Bridge who are involved in illegal collection, recycling and reselling of tickets that are already sold to motorists.
The Ministry said that it is taking the matter very seriously and therefore warns all those that are engaged in such malpractices to desist from it as stern disciplinary and punitive action awaits any culprit that is found culpable to such illegal activity.
The general public is hereby urged not to surrender issued tickets and to be vigilant and report any such malpractice to the nearest police official or station.
