A
woman called Therese Bass was Monday arraigned before the Brikama Magistrates’
Court charged with rash and negligence causing death, a charge she had denied.
According to the particulars of offence, the defendant, Therese Bass, on 29 April 2012, at Abuko Sanchaba, drove a motor vehicle with registration number BJL 2197G, a private car in a rash and negligent manner, thereby caused the death of one Burama Darboe.
Meanwhile, she was granted bail of D7, 000, with a Gambian surety.
The case was adjourned till 16 May 2012, for hearing.
