A woman was recently arraigned at the Brikama Magistrates' Court for an alleged offence of "common assault."
Ndey Ceesay denied the allegation of unlawfully assaulting one Haddy Jagne, before Magistrate Fred Foster.
Ms.Ceeasy is being accused of hitting the said Haddy Jagne, on the 2nd September 2009, with a bucket.
She was granted bail in the sum of D1000 with a Gambian surety.
The case was adjourned until the 12th September 2009 for hearing.
