The Gambia internationals in the United States Major League soccer have returned to action following the commencement of the league last weekend.
Ken Abdoulie Mansally played full time when his side Real Salt Lake beat the San Jose Earthquakes 2-0 thanks to Alvaro Saborio’s double with The Gambia striker collecting a yellow card in the 61st minute of the game.
Gambian midfielder Sanna Nyassi faced former club Seattle Sounders when Montreal Impact beat the Sounders 1-0.
Davy Arnaud gave Impact the winner. Nyassi’s opportunity came in the 46th minute when he entered as a second half substitute.
Sainey Nyassi is expected to be in action on 9 March when New England Revolution meet Chicago Fire.
