Wallidan Basketball team have maintained their unbeaten run to two games in the seventh edition of the Late Pa Modou Sarr Basketball Tournament with another win over Serrekunda East Basketball team.
They succeeded in beating Serrekunda East Basketball team by 41 points to 29 at the Serrekunda West mini-Stadium Basketball Lawn on Saturday.
When the battle started, both sides were highly optimistic of having the upper hand but as the encounter unfolded it became clear that Wallidan Basketball team would carry the day.
Wallidan Basketball team beat Manjai Boys Basketball team 54 points to 14 in the opening game to snatch the maximum points and a victory over Serrekunda East Basketball team in their second game took their unbeaten run to two since the start of the tournament a fortnight ago.
Serrekunda East Basketball team, who defeated Kanifing Basketball team 34 points to 31 in their opening game needed another win to advance to the final group of the competition when they meet Manjai boys in their final group.
