Gambia
and Senegal U-20 national teams will renew their rivalry in the 2019 WAFU Zone
A U-20 football tournament when they clash in the semifinal of the sub-regional
championship today, in Guinea Conakry.
The
young Scorpions secured their place in the last four of the yearly football
tournament following their 1-0 win over Liberia and 1-1 draw against Mali. They
will struggle to clout Senegal to grip a place in the final as well as keeping
their hopes of retaining their WAFU zone A U-20 football tournament crown.
The
young Teranga Lions advanced to the last four after winning their matches in
the group stage and will tussle to dump Gambia out to cruise to the final.
Meanwhile,
Mali will play against Sierra Leone in the other semifinal game today.
