Stockholm FC thrashed South Africa FC 3-1 in the final matches of the second round of the ongoing Serrekunda East Nawettan qualifiers on Wednesday, at the Buffer Zone Football pitch.
Stockholm FC goals were scored by Lamin Ceesay, Alieu Jallow and Sainey Camara in the 32nd, 40th and 51st minute of play, respectively, while South Africa FC lone goal was scored by Alagie Saho in the 16 minute of the play.
Elsewhere at the
SV Laar FC goals were registered by Sunkung Nyang, Ebou Sanyang and Kawsu Sanneh in the 25th, 29th and 61st minute of the match, respectively.
In other games, Construct FC defeated T.C FC 3-1 and Hamidu Jatta netted hat-trick for Construct FC, while T.C FC consolation goal was netted by Alagie Njie.
Speaking to Pointsport shortly after the game, the Assistant Coach of Stockholm FC, Omar Ceesay expressed delight at the performance of his team against South Africa FC in the second round matches of the Serrekunda East Nawettan qualifiers.
He further expressed optimism that his team will make it to the forthcoming Serrekunda East Nawettan proper this year. He finally hailed his fans for their valuable support during the course of the matches and urged them to keep up the good job.
