Under Lion FC snatch 1st victory in Badinya Tourney

Under Lion FC have registered their first win in the ongoing Badinya Sports Committee Intermediate Football Tournament following their slander narrow 1-0 win over Central Gunjur FC at the Gunjur Upper Basic School Football Field on Saturday.

Under Lion opened the score through striker Jerreh Sambou in the 30th minute of the game from a brilliant header to give his side the lead, which eventually proved to be the winner for Under Lion FC.

Central Gunjur FC responded back for an equaliser but could not break through Under Lion’s solid defence line and thus the game ended 1-0 in favour of Under Lion.

Elsewhere, Alex Sanchaba FC came from one nil down to draw 1-1 with Liverpool FC on Sunday.

Liverpool opened the score through striker Pa Bojang in the 20th minute of the game before Buba Camara levelled it for Alex Sanchaba in the 30th minute to share the spoils.
