Gambian schools are being encouraged to register and compete in the ‘Commonwealth School Enterprise Challenge’, a competition being run by the Royal Commonwealth Society, British High Commission says.
The School Enterprise Challenge is a business competition for young people who want to make a difference in the world.
Open to students of all ages across the Commonwealth, the competition challenges entrants to write a business plan for an environmentally friendly enterprise and implement it at their school.
According to the High Commission, schools can benefit from educational materials and there are prizes of up to $5,000 for schools.
Meanwhile, the deadline to register for the competition is 30 July 2013 and the deadline for submitting final reports is 3 December 2013.
