Abdoulie Manneh and Sheikh Omar Touray, the Permanent Secretaries for Local Government and Lands and Ministry of Health and Social Welfare respectively, were removed yesterday, this paper has been reliably informed.
However, no official reason(s) have been advanced for their removal.
Earlier, Bakary Trawally, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture, was removed and replaced by Dr. Amadou Sowe.
According to our sources, Mambanyick Njie has also been reinstated as Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
