Abdoulie Conteh, Bafoday Conteh and Modou Lamin Sowe were recently convicted and sentenced to a fine of D1, 000 each, in default to serve one month in prison after pleading guilty to a charge of theft.
According to the particulars of offence, in the month of February 2010, at Total Oil Company Ltd. in the Kanifing Municipality, jointly stole 60 litres of diesel oil, valued at D3, 300.00, being the property of the said Total Oil Company Ltd.
The case was presided over by Magistrate Nying of the Kanifing Magistrates' Court.
