Tigers FC and Cambel Town FC on Sunday ended their encounter goalless at the Serrekunda West Sports organization Mini Stadium.
The game between the two teams was their first in the tournament.
Tigers beat Unicorns FC in the just concluded Super Cup final by a lone goal.
Another spectacular game was held between Hapapa FC and Konge-bi FC at a well played match in which none of the teams were able to secure a single goal to stand firmly as a better side with a leading point.
Speaking shortly to the head coach of Cambel Town FC, Dodou Sarr expressed his dissatisfaction over the minimal sporting time delivered by the central referee.
He said his boys could have performed much better had they given the maximum time required.
Mr. Sarr disclosed that 35 minutes was not enough for them, he disclosed, adding that they should have been given the normal time despite that they were in the month of Ramadan.
It was too difficult for him to bring his boys together, which was due to the Ramadan, he said, adding that he however appealed to the management to give them the maximum sporting time required on the pitch.
