A man
called Alieu Jallow was recently arraigned before Magistrate Bojang of the
Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with two counts of common assault and
stealing.
He admitted to the charges and the case was adjourned till 21 August 2014, for judgement.
The charge sheet on count one read that on 1 August 2014, at Kololi, in the Kanifing Municipality, he assaulted one Babucarr Jatta on his shoulder with a spanner.
Count two read that on the same date and place, he stole from a motor vehicle with registration number BJL 3305A, cash of D1,500, the property of the said Babucarr Jatta.
