The charge sheet on count one read that on 1 August 2014, at Kololi, in the Kanifing Municipality, he assaulted one Babucarr Jatta on his shoulder with a spanner.
Count two read that on the same date and place, he stole from a motor vehicle with registration number BJL 3305A, cash of D1,500, the property of the said Babucarr Jatta.
