Bubacarr Bah, Bubacarr Sowe and Sulayman Bah were on Wednesday 21st April 2009 before Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh at Brikama Magistrate Court on two counts: Conspiracy and cattle theft contrary to section 360 and 255 of the Criminal Code cap 10 volume III Laws of The Gambia.
According to the particulars of the offence on Count One, on or about the 6th April 2009 at DaruBusumbalaVillage, Kombo North Western Region, in the Republic of The Gambia, the accused jointly conspired to commit a felony.
On Count Two, the accused jointly stole two goats valued D6, 000 (six thousand dalasis) being the property of Fatou Bah and Adama Sallah.
When the charge sheet was read to them and interpreted to them in the language they claim to understand, they pleaded not guilty.
At this juncture the case was adjourned to the 5th May 2009 and the accused are to be remanded until the next adjourned date.
