Federation (GFF) second division league after defeating Young Africans 3-2 in
the week-six match, played at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium on Wednesday.
The
Serrekunda London Corner based-team, who missed promotion to the country’s top
flight league last season after finishing third in the second tier, made a
miserable start to the second tier campaign after losing their three opening
league matches.
They
drew goalless with Bakau giant killers Steve Biko before thumping Jarra West
4-0 after losing to Gunjur United 2-0, Falcons 1-0 and Kiang West 3-2.
Team
Rihno netted three goals and Young Africans notched two goals to secure their
brilliant form in the second tier with 7 points in six league outings following
their woe start to the league campaign.
Meanwhile,
Bombada drew goalless with Serrekunda East Bi at the Serrekunda East Mini
Stadium.
Bombada
snatched 11 points after six league games and Serrekunda East Bi with 5 points
in three league outings with three games in hand.
