Tailor arraigned for alleged criminal trespass

One Sheriff Kebbeh, a tailor, was recently arraigned at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court, charged with criminal trespass.

Kebbeh denied the charge and was granted court bail of D5,000 with two Gambian sureties.

According to the charge sheet read in court, on 7 November 2011, at Kunkujang Village, in the Kombo North District of the West Coast Region, the accused, Sheriff Kebbeh, entered into the compound of one Sira Kamara with intent to intimidate and annoy her and thereby committed an offence.

Hearing continues on 21 December 2011.
