The police
prosecutors had filed an additional charge of forgery against one Morro Gaye,
who is standing trial for the offence of obtaining money by false pretence
before Magistrate Isatou Janneh of the Bundung Magistrates’ Court.
When the case was called, the police prosecutor 3466 B. Sawanneh, applied to the court to file an additional charge against the accused person.
His application was granted and the charge sheet was read to the accused, who denied it.
According to the particulars of offence, on 16 May 2014, at Brufut Village, in Kombo North district, West Coast Region, the accused allegedly forged a transfer of ownership, which indicated that it was signed by the Alkalo of Brufut.
