According to the particulars of offence, the convict, some time in 2014, at Brufut Taf Estate, stole three water tanks, one water pump, and one diesel generator, totalled as D55,000, the property of one Christopher Pobee of Brufut Taf Estate.
At that juncture, the prosecuting officer 3466 B. Sawanneh applied for compensation on the generator which was not recovered, and the trial magistrate granted the application.
The court then ordered the convict to pay a compensation of D10,000, in default he would serve 6 weeks in prison.
