The Supreme Court of the Gambia yesterday resumed it session with the hearing of multiple appeal cases filed before it.
Among the cases heard by the Supreme Court during yesterday’s session was the murder appeal case filed by one Batch Faye.
When the case was announced, Simon Abi, deputy Director of Special Ligation at the Attorney General’s Chambers, announced his representation of the state, while Lawyer Ida Drammeh announced her representation of the appellant.
However, the case was adjourned to today for the adoption of briefs.
Meanwhile, the murder appeal case filed by one Lamin Ceesay was also adjourned to today for adoption of briefs.
When the case was called L. Obedeo, from the Legal Aid Office announced her representation for the appellant, while the state was represented by Simon Abi, deputy Director of Special Litigation.
