Super Star Promotion Family has announced holding a Beauty Pageant
dubbed ‘Linguerr (Queen) Beauty Pageant’ at Bakoteh Event Garden on 10th
January 2015.
There will be eight contestants representing different communities namely, Mai Dibba of Bijilo, Abby Jallow of Bakoteh, Adama Jallow of Bakoteh, Amie Kasseh of Bijilo, Awa Faal of Sukuta.
Music performance will be by artistes including BK City, Kerr Gi Family and Big Faa to be backed by Dj Essai, Dj Benz and Dj Antou B.
Modou Njie, chief executive officer Super Star Promotion Family, said they intend to hold this event annually by encourage young talents to take up modeling as their career.
He explained that Super Star Promotion Family is an entertainment entity and a promotional body that aims at promoting, educating, supporting and developing the untapped talents of all Gambians. “We promote music, culture, models and fashion design,” he said.
He urged Gambians to come out in their large numbers to support their female models.
