The trio decided to quit the Bakau side to make a surprise and much talked about switch to Serekunda East where they are making names for themselves.

Despite undergoing an impressive qualifying round recently, Luniburg have being the biggest disappointment due to lack of consistency in the summer championship so far which saw them struggling at the bottom of the table, but this latest win against Junior Arms could be a turning point for the youngsters.

They had three of their players being invited  to the Gambia national U-17 team as a result of their outstanding performances during their friendly matches with the two time Africa U-17 champions namely Bakary Sambura [Baks], Ebrima Sanneh and play maker Ousman Njie, but the trio were unfortunate in their attempt to make it to the final squad that is currently undergoing a three week intensive training camp in the United Kingdom in the build up to the FIFA U-17 world cup in the federal republic of Nigeria.

Suteh Marong alias [Coach] is still with the belief that Luniburg will progress to the next stage of the summer championship , despite an embarrassing start amidst suggestion that the team is not good enough to maintain a place in the next summer championship.
