Strong FC will lock horns with Asselem in the second round of the ongoing Gunjur nawettan knock-out competition tomorrow, at the Gunjur Upper and Senior Secondary School football field at 4pm.
Both
sides will scuffle to win the match to progress to the quarterfinal after their
elimination from the league competition.
Meanwhile,
Mariken Investment, Solifo, Kombo Real Estate and Ecomog all advance to the
quarterfinal of the knock-out competition after winning their second round
matches.
The
Investment boys defeated Smateq on penalties to progress to the last eight
after the regular time ended 1-1 while Solifo boys beat Sanchaba United on
spot-kick to also advance to the last eight after the normal time ended
goalless.
Kombo
Real Estate defeated defending league, knock-out and super cup champions The
Pub FC 1-0 sail to the last eight while Ecomog beat Red Star Family on
penalties to cruise to the last eight after the regulation time finished 1-1.
